You can talk over it
Start speaking and it stops speaking — no waiting for it to finish a sentence you have already answered.
It speaks, it listens, it can be interrupted mid-sentence, and it puts a person on the line the moment the call needs one — with your team watching the transcript as it happens.
Voice is on the Team plan and up.
“May we record this call? Say yes or press 1 to agree. Say no or press 2 to continue without recording.”
The greeting, this question and every line the AI speaks are yours to write. They are your business speaking, not ours.
The AI answers, asks before it records, respects the answer — and hands the call to Priya when the refund needs approving. Your team reads the transcript while it happens.
Thanks for calling Northwind. How can I help?
“Hi — I’m calling about a lamp that turned up cracked.”
May we record this call? Say yes or press 1 to agree. Say no or press 2 to continue without recording.
“No, that’s fine, carry on.”
Of course — no recording. Let me find that order.
I have order A-1042 here. A refund needs a colleague to approve it, so let me bring somebody in.
“Hi Mara — I have read the whole call. I am approving the $48.00 refund now.”
The question is the first thing the call does, in plain words, with an answer the caller can speak or press. Say no and the call carries on — it is a question, not a gate.
Only a call somebody agreed to record is recorded, and the recording goes to your workspace’s own encrypted storage. The transcript your team reads while the call is live is a different thing from a recording, and saying no does not take it away.
There is a ceiling on how long a single call will be held open, so an abandoned line never quietly grows into a problem.
The things that make an automated call unbearable are the things this was built around.
Start speaking and it stops speaking — no waiting for it to finish a sentence you have already answered.
If a lookup is taking a moment, the caller hears one short line saying so. Not a string of them: after that it either brings in a person or wraps the call up properly.
A card the chat widget would draw is spoken as a sentence. Nobody is read a list of buttons.
A call can step down toward your team the same way a chat does — and what the caller hears is different for each of the ways that can happen.
“Let me bring a colleague in — connecting you now.”
The conversation becomes theirs first and the caller is told second, so nobody is promised a transfer that has not happened yet.
“I want to get this right, so a teammate will follow up with you shortly.”
The call ends gracefully instead of holding someone on a line nobody will pick up. No wait time is invented — if the platform cannot say when, it does not say.
“A colleague has your conversation, and I have added what you just said to it.”
The AI does not answer over the shoulder of the person holding the conversation, and it does not leave the caller listening to silence either.
The transcript streams into the workspace while the call is happening, including the words a caller says over the top of the AI. A supervisor can listen in, speak to their colleague without the caller hearing, or take the call over.
The call becomes part of the same conversation as that customer’s chats and emails: the transcript, what the AI did, what it was not allowed to do, and who approved what — all on one thread.
When a call ends, Aqvitus can send a short recap by text — what was agreed, and what happens next. It is checked against that customer’s consent, their right to be left alone and your own limits before it goes, and you can turn it off entirely.
Calls arrive on your own carrier account — the same one your texts go out on. The credential lives in a vault and Aqvitus holds only a reference to it.
Each plan includes a monthly allowance of AI voice minutes, and you set a ceiling on what voice may cost beyond it. At the ceiling, new calls go to a person or to voicemail — a call already in progress is never cut off.
Every channel runs the same AI, the same rules and the same history.
Put the AI in front of every conversation, and keep your team in charge of everything that matters.
